New Library Construction Completed at Wotera Primary School!

As you may all remember, we have been sharing with you updates on the construction of the new library in Wotera Primary School in Oromia region. We are now pleased to bring to you the good news that the building is fully completed. All structural and finishing works including wall painting, doors and windows installation and electric wiring are finalized. The library currently stands beautifully and gracefully as a vibrant learning center in the school compound.
This accomplishment is the result of strong collaboration between ADRA Norway through the ASPIRE Project, and ADRA Czech through the SAFE Project (Safe and Accessible Facilities for Education). This joint effort marks a significant milestone for both ASPIRE Ethiopia and SAFE, reinforcing the shared commitment to enhancing learning environments and improving the quality of education in Ethiopia.
According to ADRA Ethiopia’s technical advisor, the library is scheduled for official handover within one week. It will begin serving learners following the fulfillment of essential furnishings such as bookshelves, tables, chairs, and most importantly reference and textbook materials.
